Our Story
It all began with a simple vision in the heart of Bunbury: every child in the South West deserves outstanding paediatric care, close to home. While working hand-in-hand with other local specialists, Dr Carsten Broeze saw first-hand how families were often struggling to find the right support for their children’s health needs. Determined to make a meaningful difference, he founded Paediatrics HQ in 2024.
From the very beginning, our mission has been to deliver compassionate, expert paediatric care that feels like an extension of your own family. We partner with local GPs, allied health professionals, and developmental services to create a supportive circle of care—one that helps parents and caregivers feel truly seen, heard, and empowered.
Today, Dr Carsten continues to serve the region he loves by providing outreach to Busselton, Collie, Manjimup, and beyond, as well as working at Bunbury Regional Hospital and Hudson Road Bunbury Community Health. Due to the high demand in our catchment, we are currently unable to accept referrals from outside the South West, but our commitment remains the same: to bring peace of mind and the best possible outcomes to the children we serve.

Meet Dr Carsten Broeze
A father of two with over a decade of hands-on experience in Paediatric and Emergency Medicine, Dr. Carsten is passionate about making a meaningful impact on the families he serves. After earning his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Medical Science with Honors (BMedSciHons) from the University of Western Australia, he honed his skills in some of Perth’s busiest Emergency Departments.
Dr. Carsten’s path led him to further training at Princess Margaret Hospital and later Perth Children’s Hospital, where he discovered his true calling: providing specialised care for children. In 2016, he became a member of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP), focusing his expertise on General Paediatrics. Today, he remains deeply committed to ensuring that every child receives the understanding, attention, and medical excellence they deserve.
